Alan Needham has been in business for over 40 years, with a long-standing reputation among generations of local riders. Aged 15, Alan began working at the shop, then called A1 Scooters. He and his father Keith Needham bought the business in 1983 and Needham’s Motorcycles was born.

Owner
Alan is a qualified motorcycle engineer, earning Mechanic of the Year during his training. His vast experience makes him astute at fault finding and he gets satisfaction from getting riders back on the road.
Manager
Josh is a trained motorcycle engineer, studying at Wakefield College. He joined Needham’s in 2021 and now manages the workshop.
Technician
A skilled mechanic with over 25 years experience, Liam joined the business in 2010. Electronics is a particular strength.
BSB Team Mechanic
Addicted to the thrill of racing, Piggy is a natural clown and friend to all. He specialises in BMW 1000RR.
Chief Mouser
The most chilled member of the team, always keen for a belly rub.
